From my perspective, competition sits on the fear side of the spectrum of human emotion.

I am not talking about competition with Self – to be closer and closer to your true, intrinsic nature, until ultimately you are, in each breath, your God-self; I am speaking here of competition from a belief in LACK.

We are told that survival is innate in our DNA. But how could we have a need for survival in a reality where each one’s needs are met, and there is no Lack? If everyone is prosperous and abundant, where would the drive to survive originate from?

Competition then is born from distortion of the human spirit, not dwelling within it. We compete to be the best, have the most, from the fear that there isn’t enough for everyone. And we have learned that in our disconnection from God; it was not wired into us from Source.

Source or God, or the Creator, is a benevolent, abundant Frequency Field, wherein each one of us has no need, for all that we desire and truly require is ever present and available to each one of us.

We lost that knowing first, and then we developed survival skills. And since we no longer need to survive against other primates, and fight for food and shelter, we have extended those skills, based on the fear of Lack, to our schools, governments, world postures, etc.; even to the budding industry of spiritual awakening.

No true community can then develop and prosper until we come to know that each one of us is a unique expression of the Creator’s light, and yet the same light. Only from this knowing can true community thrive. A world where we each support the uniqueness of the other, knowing that it is our collective sameness that allows each one’s uniqueness to thrive in the first place.
