Spirit-in-Nature Essences for Perfect Well-Being
(formerly Master’s Flower Essences)
by Lila Devi Stone, Founder since 1977

In these times of global and individual stress, many people are turning to natural alternatives to renew their sense of well-being. Flower essences are one such option. Spirit-in-Nature Essences, the oldest essence line outside the U.K. developed in 1977, has provided millions of people internationally with a wide array of positive attitudes and health-promoting outlooks. These essences are substantiated by three decades of research, case histories, analysis and direct testimonials.

How do flower essences work? They vibrationally stimulate our existing positive qualities: kindness, unconditional love, and inner peace or, respectively, the qualities found in the blossoms of the raspberry, grape, and pear blossoms. Inspired by the wisdom of the Indian master teacher Paramhansa Yogananda, these herbal infusions support our existing character strengths through what we call the “flower/food connection.” Eat cherries to develop cheerfulness, he recommended. Now, you can go right to the full source of that good cheer—the blossoms themselves, and the essences from which they were prepared.

As I mentioned in my first book, The Essential Flower Essence Handbook:
"Flowers are conscious, intelligent forces. They have been given to us for our happiness and our healing. Flower essences--a unique form of herbalism--are a concentrated encapsulation of this life force readily at our disposal. Herbalism has existed since the first human being prepared teas, tonics, and poultices--or even earlier when the first wild animal instinctively grazed on plants designed to heal its wounds. In fact, even in this century herbs are relied upon as the basis of medicine. Today, twenty five percent of all prescription drugs are derived from natural plant substances."

In Chapter Two of The Essential Flower Essence Handbook, we find this explanation of vibrational healing: "The pharmacies and physicians of our age offer us a veritable buffet of healing modalities from which to choose when the need arises--or, in preventive healing, before that need occurs.
Depending upon the nature of the illness and personal healing preferences, any modality from surgery to color therapy may suit or fancy, i.e., from matter-oriented to energy-based treatment. Traditional allopathic medicine, an example of matter-oriented treatment, focuses on killing the specific disease, as in the use of antibiotics for infection or decongestants for the "common" cold. Allopathy also treats specific organs once their functioning is impaired, as in the many miraculous forms of heart surgery now routinely performed.

“What we call vibrational therapy deals with strengthening and balancing our entire psycho-physiological being by directly activating our life force.
Thus are we granted a greater immunity to illness and a higher quality of life. These two paths of healing need not conflict: both have their place in the greater scheme of this universe, as described below by Dr. Einstein:

"’A human being is a part of the whole called by us 'universe,' a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our own personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in it's beauty.’”

Likewise, pets and animals, who live so richly in their feelings and instincts, are remarkably sensitive to these essences. Since animals are not prone to the phenomena called "the placebo effect," they are not capable of imagined results or benefits—which is so often the case with human beings!
This fact lends great credibility to the effectiveness of flower essences to restore them, and us, to a more perfect sense of well-being.

In my second book, Flower Essences for Animals, I’ve written: "In our role as pet owners, we can make choices concerning the care of our pets. Flower essences, a truly holistic form of natural pet care, affect energy and heighten awareness.. . .Flower essences are especially helpful for animals, simply because their natures are far less complicated than those of human beings, and thus the natural effects of the essences are significantly less blocked or constricted. To summarize, their personalities don't get in the way."

Are you wanting to change your attitudes for the better? Live those New Year ’s resolutions to their fullest? Develop your character strengths in ways that are truly fulfilling? Now is the best time for change. Flower essences are an excellent source of support in doing so.
