Astrology is any of several traditions or systems in which knowledge of the apparent positions of celestial bodies is held to be useful in understanding, interpreting, and organizing knowledge about reality and human existence on earth.

All astrological traditions are based on the relative positions and movements of various celestial bodies as seen at the time and place of the birth or other event being studied. Astrological Counseling charts the interrelationships between an individual and the heavenly bodies in order to understand cosmological influences on individual fate.

The configuration of the planets and stars at the moment of birth determines one's inclinations, strengths and weaknesses. This information can then be used to better understand and respond to general life issues, particular situations, and provide forewarning for potential pitfalls.
