Stone Massage Description:
Stone Massage Heated stones are placed on specific points on the body. The heat relaxes muscles, allowing for greater manipulation than with regular massage. In cases of muscular injury, cold stones are used to help the body detoxify and heal. The cold stones cause the blood vessels to constrict and stimulate the nervous system. The warmer stones expand the blood vessels, pushing blood and waste materials through the body. This has a sedative effect on the nervous system. |
